Annual Giving Coordinator
Joncelyn joined the Development and Alumni Relations team in 2018 and oversees Point Park's Phonathon program. She attended Point Park from 2009-12 after transferring from Carlow University. She has a background in Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management and is also a former Point Park Pioneer, having played for the women's basketball team. After her senior year at Point Park, Joncelyn spent two seasons in Latvia and Malta playing professional basketball. Since returning to the United States, she has gained considerable experience in nonprofit managment, having worked with several nonprofits in and around Pittsburgh.
Assistant Vice President, Development and Alumni Relations
As a legacy alumna from the Conservatory of Performing Arts, Stephanie is thrilled to be back on campus at Point Park. She joined the Development and Alumni Relations team in January 2019. Stephanie comes to Point Park with over a decade of experience in creative and constituent-focused nonprofit fundraising, friend-raising and event planning. Stephanie earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Point Park University and her M.B.A. from Chatham University.
Director of Grants and Fellowships
Kristin began at Point Park in February 2017. She has 14+ years of experience in the political, nonprofit and higher education sectors. Kristin is dedicated to connecting Point Park faculty and students with funding opportunities from corporations and foundations. She is housed in the Center for Inclusive Excellence, but works closely with the Development and Alumni Relations team. A graduate of Chatham University (B.A. in political science) and the University of Pittsburgh (M.Ed. in higher education management), Kristin is also working toward a Ph.D. in social and comparative analysis in education.
Manager of Development Resources
Jennifer joined Point Park as the data specialist in August 2014 and was promoted to coordinator of advancement resources in 2017. She previously served as gift entry and donor records specialist at Carlow University. Jennifer earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from La Roche College.
Manager of Constituent Relations and Stewardship
Linda joined Point Park University in 2015 in the Department of Marketing and Communications and became a member of the Development and Alumni Relations team in 2017. The bulk of her professional experience is in writing, editing, strategic communications planning and event planning for higher education, nonprofits and publications. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Montana State University.
Director of Alumni Relations
In this role Jen oversees all alumni engagement activity, including local and regional programming, management of the Alumni Association board of directors, facilitation of alumni volunteer opportunities across campus and alumni communications. Jen's alumni experience includes previously being the assistant director of alumni relations at Point Park, as well as time with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine's Medical Alumni Association where she built a strong background in organizing alumni events and reunions, as well as student engagement. In addition, she worked with the University of Pittsburgh's health sciences alumni as an intern and worked for a Pittsburgh law firm handling marketing and business development. Jen earned her bachelor's degree in communication and rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh.
Assistant Coordinator of Development Resources
Janet directly supports the director of development resources in managing and retrieving alumni, donor and constituent data in the development and alumni relations department. Janet previously held positions at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. While there, she managed the chapter accounting, database, miscellaneous needs and office supplies, accounts payable, accounts receivable, donor support and volunteer development. She also provided event and fundraising support, was responsible for handling the logistics for all 20 annual walks and assisted with the logistics for other chapter events.
Assistant Director of Alumni Relations
Lauren began at Point Park in October 2017. She joins the team with nearly 10 years of event planning and nonprofit experience. Though she is new to her position in the department, she is not a stranger to Point Park. Lauren graduated from the University in May 2012 with a degree in advertising and public relations. Prior to accepting the position of assistant director of alumni engagement she was an active member of the Point Park University Alumni Association Board of Directors where she served on the P.A.R.T and Community Engagement task forces. In her current role her responsibilities include planning local and regional events and programming, engaging with current students and expanding the active Point Park alumni community.
