No, your entire history will be migrated to your LinkedIn Learning account.

Why should I connect my LinkedIn Profile to my Point Park LinkedIn Learning account?

Connecting your profile will result in a more personalized learning experience that includes special course recommendations based on your job title, skills, and industry.

Am I required to connect my LinkedIn profile to my Point Park LinkedIn Learning account?

No, connecting your profile is optional. If you change your mind, you retain the option to connect your profile at a later time.

How is LinkedIn Learning different from Lynda.com, and what additional features does it provide?

LinkedIn Learning combines all of Lynda.com’s high-quality courses with insights from LinkedIn data to provide you with personalized course recommendations based on your current job, skills, and what professionals like you are learning. With LinkedIn Learning, you’ll also get access to LinkedIn’s Premium Career features, like InMailaccess to who’s viewed their profile, and competitive insights on other job applicants.

How exactly does the Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning migration work?

When a Lynda.com subscriber migrates from Lynda.com to LinkedIn.com, Lynda.com data (such as learning activity) will be shared with LinkedIn.com. As with other LinkedIn.com services, LinkedIn Learning is subject to the LinkedIn User Agreement, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Accordingly, on LinkedIn.com, your data may be used to personalize your experience across LinkedIn. For example, your coursework may be used to recommend profile updates and jobs, your LinkedIn profile may be used to provide course recommendations on LinkedIn Learning, and Lynda.com data may be used to pre-populate your learning history and interests on LinkedIn Learning.

After migration, your Lynda.com account will not be accessible. Your Lynda.com account will be closed and your data on Lynda.com will deleted in accordance with (and be subject to until deleted) the Lynda.com Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. If your LinkedIn Learning subscription terminates, but your LinkedIn account is retained, we keep your learning activity. Note that by cancelling your LinkedIn Learning subscription, information already migrated will not be automatically deleted by LinkedIn.com (but will be deleted on Lynda.com as described above).

Lynda is evolving

so you can too.
