Meet the staff

Joncelyn Abbott
Annual Giving / Phonathon Coordinator
Joncelyn joined the Development and Alumni Relations team in 2018 and oversees Point Park's Phonathon program. She attended Point Park from 2009-12 after transferring from Carlow University. She has a background in Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management and is also a former Point Park Pioneer, having played for the women's basketball team. After her senior year at Point Park, Joncelyn spent two seasons in Latvia and Malta playing professional basketball. Since returning to the United States, she has gained considerable experience in nonprofit managment, having worked with several nonprofits in and around Pittsburgh.

Stephanie Adamczyk
Assistant Vice President
As a legacy alumna from the Conservatory of Performing Arts, Stephanie is thrilled to be back on campus at Point Park. She joined the Development and Alumni Relations team in January 2019. Stephanie comes to Point Park with over a decade of experience in creative and constituent-focused nonprofit fundraising, friend-raising and event planning. Stephanie earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Point Park University and her M.B.A. from Chatham University. 

Cristy Crawshaw
Co-Op Student / Social Media and Communications Manager

Cristy began the Co-Op student employment position in May of 2019, where she is the social media and communications manager for the Department of Alumni Engagement and Giving. She is a current senior, finishing her Bachelor of Science in Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management and was a member of the Competition Dance Team on campus. Cristy has held previous internships in the Pittsburgh areas and gained experience in event planning, budgeting, and non-profit work. Cristy loves the experience she is getting through this program and cannot wait to continue growing through Point Park University's many opportuinities.

Megan Corder
Alumni Engagement Officer

Megan Corder joined the Alumni Engagement and Giving team in June 2019 with a background in university marketing and event planning. Megan loves connecting with students and alumni to hear their inspiring Point Park stories. She earned her B.S. Public Relations from Kent State University and M.S. in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University.

Jen Dittrich
Manager of Database and Donor Services

Jen manages alumni, donor and constituent data.  Jen joined Point Park as the data specialist in August 2014 and has since been promoted to coordinator of development resources and again to her current role as manager of database and donor services.  She has over 12 years of experience in donor services as she previously served as gift entry and donor records specialist at Carlow University.  Jen earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from La Roche University.

Barbara Hipp
Alumni Engagement Officer

Barbara joined the Point Park University Alumni Engagement and Giving team in June 2019. She earned her B.B.A at Adrian College in 2017 and her M.A in Higher Education Leadership at Siena Heights University in 2019. Barbara is a retired competitive collegiate figure skater and synchronized skater. She grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh and is excited to continue her passion for higher education.

Courtney List
Administrative Assistant
Courtney started her professional career at Point Park University in May, 2019 where she serves as the Administrative Assistant.  She fell in love with the university while earning her undergraduate degree in Public Relations and Advertising. With experience in nonprofits, sports, and communications, Courtney was ready to tackle a new and exciting position in higher education.  Prior to her current role, Courtney worked with numerous Pittsburgh-based companies that provided her with extensive skills to prepare her for this position.  In her current role, Courtney works alongside the Assistant Vice President to lend administrative support.

Janet Stanley
Coordinator of Database and Donor Services
Janet directly supports the manager of development resources in managing and retrieving alumni, donor and constituent data in the development and alumni relations department. Janet previously held positions at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. While there, she managed the chapter accounting, database, miscellaneous needs and office supplies, accounts payable, accounts receivable, donor support and volunteer development. She also provided event and fundraising support, was responsible for handling the logistics for all 20 annual walks and assisted with the logistics for other chapter events.

Lauren Steiner
Alumni Engagement Officer

Lauren began at Point Park in October 2017. She joins the team with nearly 10 years of event planning and nonprofit experience. Though she is new to her position in the department, she is not a stranger to Point Park. Lauren graduated from the University in May 2012 with a degree in advertising and public relations. Prior to accepting the position of assistant director of alumni engagement she was an active member of the Point Park University Alumni Association Board of Directors where she served on the P.A.R.T and Community Engagement task forces. In her current role, her responsibilities include planning local and regional events and programming, engaging with current students and expanding the active Point Park alumni community.
